Belgium’s standard monthly and hourly minimum wages were indexed effective retroactively to Jan. 1, 2026, the country’s Federal Public Service Employment, Labour, and Social Dialogue said Jan. 20.
The standard monthly minimum wages was indexed by 2% and increased to 2,154.11 euros (US$2,522.99) from 2,111.89 euros, which had been in effect since Feb. 1, 2025, the agency said (Dutch).
Hourly rates are provided for 38, 39, and 40-hour weeks and increased to a range of 12.4276 euros to 13.0816 euros, up from a range of 12.184 euros to 12.8252 euros, the agency said.
