Germany’s industry-specific minimum wages for carers will increase July 1 and again on July 1, 2027, the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs said March 6.
The hourly minimum wage for unskilled carers will increase to 16.52 euros (US$19.14), from 16.10 euros, on July 1, and to 16.95 euros July 1, 2027, the ministry said in an ordinance (German).
