For 2026, employers in the county must pay tipped employees at least $3.63 per hour according to the department. That rate is equal to the state’s tipped minimum wage rate, although the county minimum wage, at $15.30 for 2026, exceeds the state rate of $15 per hour.
The maximum tip credit amount in Prince George’s County is $11.67 per hour, according to the website.
