New Hampshire Unemployment Tax Unchanged for 2025 Fourth Quarter

New Hampshire’s unemployment tax rates for the fourth quarter of 2025 are the same as the rates for the first three quarters of the year, according to an update from New Hampshire Employment Security.

Tax rates range from 0.1% to 1.7% for positive-rated employers, with a solvency threshold tax reduction of 1 percentage point, according to the agency’s tax rate chart and the state’s tax rate schedules. Tax rates for negative-rated employers range from 3.3% to 7.5%, including a surcharge of 0.5 percentage points.
