Hungary will raise minimum wages by a double digit margin next year as Prime Minister
Minimum wages will rise 11% next year, after this year’s 9% hike, Orban said on Thursday after agreeing with employers and labor unions. The raise is less than the 13% increase penciled in earlier, which employers asked to renegotiate after Hungary’s disappointing economic growth this year.
