Harriet Carter Gifts Inc. and its marketing-services provider NaviStone Inc. escaped a proposed class action alleging they collected and disclosed the personal information of website visitors in violation of the Pennsylvania wiretapping statute.
Lead plaintiff Ashley Popa didn’t have standing to bring the lawsuit in federal court because she didn’t allege that her activities on the site allowed the collection or disclosure of her sensitive or personal information, Judge Thomas M.
