Harvard University failed to adequately secure an alumni affairs database, according to a proposed class action by an individual whose personal information may have been leaked in a recent data breach.
The breach may have compromised the data of thousands of students, faculty, alumni, donors, and others, according to the complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
