Sports analytics firm Hudl was accused in federal court of illegally cornering the market for video analysis services used by high school and college teams, hamstringing a rival’s ability to effectively compete.

Plaintiff Qwikcut LLC alleges Hudl offers massive bundled discounts for video analysis and employs other practices to kill competition and lock customers into its platform, according to a Thursday complaint filed in the US District Court for the District of New Jersey. The named defendant is Agile Sports Technologies Inc., which does business as Hudl.
