Lee Enterprises agreed to pay $600,000 to settle cybersecurity litigation filed after an attack on the media company in February 2025, according to a motion for preliminary approval submitted in Iowa federal court.
Nearly 40,000 class members would be eligible for some type of reimbursement—either a cash payment, an award for ordinary losses, or one for extraordinary injury—along with credit monitoring services.
