Mayer Brown Hires Wainstein to Lead Global Investigations Group

Mayer Brown hired Ken Wainstein, who recently departed a high-ranking role in the Homeland Security Department, to lead its global investigations and white-collar defense practice.

Wainstein in 2022 left Davis Polk & Wardwell to serve as the DHS under secretary for intelligence and analysis.
He’s spent 23 years in a variety of senior law enforcement and national security positions in the federal government, including as US Attorney General for the District of Columbia and as Homeland Security Advisor during the George W. Bush administration.
