Delta Dental will pay $2.25 million to New York state after allegations that inadequate policies and procedures led to the to theft of sensitive private information of consumers.
An investigation by the New York State Department of Financial Services found that the company’s cybersecurity program didn’t comply with department regulations for data protection.
