OnlyFans Wins Dismissal in Instagram Traffic Conspiracy Case

The adult entertainment website OnlyFans fended off a lawsuit from performers alleging the platform conspired with Meta Platforms Inc. to reduce web traffic to sites that compete with OnlyFans.

Judge William Alsup ruled that the US District Court for the Northern District of California where the suit was filed lacked specific jurisdiction over the UK-based Fenix International Ltd., the company behind OnlyFans.

The amended complaint filed by three adult performers who distributed content using competitors of OnlyFans claimed that their accounts on Instagram and Facebook had been “blacklisted” by Meta, while those who use OnlyFans aren’t.
