Amadeus Said to Eye Bid for Advent’s Biometric Security Arm (1)

Spanish travel software company Amadeus IT SA is considering a bid to acquire the public security arm of Advent’s biometrics firm Idemia, according to people familiar with the matter.

The technology provider is among companies and private equity firms exploring a purchase of the France-based business from the US investor, the people said, asking not to be identified because talks are private.
