Blackstone Elevates Tyler Dickson to Lead Bank Liaison Team

Blackstone Inc. promoted Tyler Dickson to lead the team that handles the firm’s relationships with banks, less than two years after hiring the former global head of investment banking for Citigroup Inc.

Dickson, 58, will oversee Blackstone Strategic Relationships, known as BXSR, and is leaving his role as head of client relations for the credit and insurance unit, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg. He’ll report to Chief Administrative Officer Vik Sawhney.
