FTSE Russell, StepStone Debut Daily Indexes for Private Assets

StepStone Group Inc. and FTSE Russell debuted a series of indexes that will churn out daily data on private investment funds, in an effort to bring more transparency to the relatively opaque market.

The new benchmarks will facilitate the development of an ecosystem of index-tracking investment products for private assets, said Gerald Toledano, global head of equity and multi-assets at FTSE Russell, a subsidiary of the London Stock Exchange Group Plc.
