Starfish Space Series B Funding Round Raises Over $100 Million

Starfish Space Inc., a satellite servicing firm, has raised more than $100 million in its Series B funding round.

The round for the Seattle, Washington-based company was co-led by Point72 Ventures — a venture capital firm helmed by Steven Cohen, the billionaire owner of the New York Mets — as well as Activate Capital and Shield Capital. Industrious Ventures and NightDragon also participated, Starfish said in a statement on Tuesday.

Starfish, which has contracts with groups including the US Space Force, NASA and satellite firm SES SA, will use the capital to scale its Otter spacecraft business ...
