Compliance tech startup Vanta Inc. reached a valuation of $4.15 billion in a new $150 million funding round — adding billions to its value, and signaling investors’ interest in companies using artificial intelligence to streamline complicated corporate tasks.
The financing was led by Wellington Management, a new investor. The deal also included existing backers Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Sequoia Capital, JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Craft Ventures, the VC firm co-founded by investor David Sacks.
The deal boosts Vanta’s valuation from $2.45 billion when it last raised money a year ago, and brings its funding haul to about $504 million since 2021. ...
