Benton Harbor, Mich., residents reached a settlement with the city’s former water plant operator over claims he didn’t properly notify them of unsafe lead levels in the water supply.
The proposed class and defedant Mike O’Malley filed a joint motion to stay the litigation on Wednesday, notifying the US District Court for the Western District of Michigan that the parties “are drafting a formal settlement document.”
