Boeing Wins Review of Investor Class Status in 737 Max Lawsuit

Boeing Co. and its former CEO convinced an appellate court to review whether an investor lawsuit alleging misrepresentations of its 737 MAX’s safety following deadly crashes should’ve been certified as a class action.

A panel of US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit judges granted Boeing and ex-CEO Dennis Muilenburg‘s petition Thursday—the same day the aircraft maker argued to disband a different investor class for similar reasons in a case before the Fourth Circuit.
