A group of young people lost their original jurisdiction request to get the Montana Supreme Court to hear their case challenging state laws about greenhouse gas monitoring and environmental review.
“Petitioners have not demonstrated why urgency or emergency factors make litigation in the trial courts and the normal appeal process inadequate,” the Montana’s high court said in its order Tuesday.
