NASA Sends Crew to Space Station for Meditation Research (1)

A SpaceX capsule carrying crew members from the US, Europe and Russia launched to the International Space Station on Friday, the start of a planned eight-month stay in orbit that will include research on meditation in space.

The four astronauts of NASA’s Crew-12 will join three others aboard ISS, which has operated with a skeleton crew since the first-ever space medical evacuation in January. NASA said at the time that one of the four returning astronauts had a “serious medical condition,” without being more specific.
