The lawsuit, filed in a California federal court by consumer Randy Tyndall, says Sprouts and manufacturer EcoSoul, which makes Sprouts-branded cutlery, cups and more, violated California’s business and consumer protection laws by promoting their products as compostable and good for the environment.
