Freddie Mac, the government-sponsored housing finance enterprise, said Monday that Matthew Abrusci has joined the company as general counsel, executive vice president and corporate secretary.
Abrusci brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, spanning banking, capital markets, and securities law. He previously served as general counsel at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Americas and held senior legal positions at Royal Bank of Canada, Credit Suisse Securities, and Merrill Lynch.
Abrusci obtained his bachelor’s degree and juris doctorate from St. John’s University.
