Kentucky Accuses Roblox of Building Abusive ‘Hunting Ground’ (1)

Kentucky’s attorney general accused Roblox Corp. of creating a “hunting ground” for child predators on its popular online gaming platform, adding to backlash over the company’s protections for minors.

While issuing assurances of its safety, Roblox knowingly failed to inform parents and the public about dangers to minors on its platform, and failed to institute basic safety controls to protect children, said the complaint filed in Kentucky’s Madison Circuit Court.

“For years, Roblox has ignored this crisis so it could continue turning a profit,” Attorney General Russell Coleman said in a press release Tuesday.
