Norfolk Southern Ex-Conductor Gets Trial on Age Bias, Pay Claims

Norfolk Southern Corp. must face trial on claims that it discriminated against a former mainline conductor because of his age, and that it failed to make payments it owes him.

Charles C. Martin III has established a “‘convincing mosaic’” of circumstantial evidence with which a jury could reasonably find that Norfolk Southern committed age discrimination against him, the US District Court for the Northern District of Alabama said.
