Amazon Sues to Block NY Labor Law: States of Play

AMAZON IS CHALLENGING NEW YORK’S law that claims state authority over private-sector labor disputes, alleging that federal law preempts it. The lawsuit is the second seeking to block the recently enacted state statute, following legal action from the National Labor Relations Board.
