Anti-ESG Laws in Florida, Texas Draw Ire of House Democrats (1)

Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee are seeking information about the financial effects of anti-ESG state laws in Florida and Texas.

Letters sent Monday to state officials by ranking member Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) and Rep. Lou Correa (D-Calif.) ask for details about the impact to taxpayers of laws that penalize companies for their use of environmental, social, and governance factors, such as addressing climate change.
