AGs Suing Trump at Likely Record Pace
Democratic attorneys general are suing President Donald Trump’s administration at a blistering pace, teaming up to file nearly 100 lawsuits since January 2025, Eric Heisig and Ryan Autullo report.
While the pile-on by opposition-party AGs dates back to Barack Obama’s tenure, the frequency and speed at which Trump is being sued in his second term mean they are likely to smash the record set during his first, when the 100th suit came early in his fourth year. The planning sessions to prep for the suits began even before Trump took office.
