Democrats Release ‘Red to Blue’ District Targets: States of Play

House Democrats’ campaign organization has identified a first tranche of party candidates it says are well-positioned to oust Republican incumbents in November, Greg Giroux reports.

  • The committee’s first “Red to Blue” candidates will receive organizational and fundraising support to flip GOP-held districts. Democrats need a net gain of three seats to overturn a House Republican majority that’s at risk in the midterm elections.
