Florida Republican Dunn Not Running for Reelection to House

Rep. Neal Dunn, a Florida Republican physician, won’t seek reelection this year after five House terms, opening up a seat that will likely remain under GOP control.

He was first elected to Congress in 2016 and represents Florida’s 2nd District, a Republican-leaning swath that includes Tallahassee and Panama City. The district favored Donald Trump by 11 percentage points in the 2020 presidential election and by 18 points in the 2024 election.
