ICE’s $28 Million DNA Test Contract Stays With SNA International

SNA International LLC can proceed with a $28 million Immigration and Customs Enforcement contract to help implement a rapid DNA testing program for enforcement and removal operations, the GAO said.

Protester Bode Cellmark Forensics Inc. failed to show that ICE improperly made the award as a noncompetitive small business innovation research program contract, the Government Accountability Office said in a decision released Tuesday.

ICE seeks assistance implementing the program to identify “fraudulent familial relationship claims made by individuals entering or attempting to enter the United States,” the decision said.
