PRO-WORKER BALLOT INITIATIVES in Missouri could soon face a higher burden. Republican state lawmakers approved a measure that will ask voters to decide if citizen-initiated constitutional amendments must get majority support in each of Missouri’s eight congressional districts to become law. Currently, ballot initiatives need only a simple majority of all state voters.
