THE FIGHT OVER MISSOURI’S new Republican-favoring congressional lines is moving to the courts. Several lawsuits already have been filed against a map Gov. Mike Kehoe (R) signed Sept. 28 with support from President Donald Trump. The map is designed to deliver an additional House seat to Republicans by fracturing the compact and Democratic-leaning Kansas City district of Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, one of two Democrats in Missouri’s eight-member House delegation.
