CMS will soon expand its Medicaid fraud investigation into more states, Administrator Mehmet Oz told Mica Soellner in an exclusive interview.
- Oz further warned that states could lose federal funding if they don’t cooperate with the probes.
- “If you have a major issue with figuring out that the providers are really doing what they say they’re doing and you have massive fraud you believe is existing, then you should want to address this anyway and if it’s not on your radar, we want to put it there,” Oz said.
