Arizona voters rejected an effort to end all judicial retention elections while voting to keep all their Supreme Court justices on the bench.
The outcome was one of the big question marks heading into Tuesday’s election because the justices up for retention in Arizona drew challenges, a rarity in that state, one of 32 states with supreme court elections.
