SPAC-Friendly Law Firm’s Second Tie-Up in 2026 Adds IP Boutique

Ellenoff Grossman & Schole, the New York law firm known for representing SPACs, is combining with an intellectual property boutique in a second move this year to expand offerings.

The tie-up with Leichtman Law announced Tuesday brings seven attorneys to Ellenoff Grossman, giving it a total of nearly 150, according to a statement from the firm. The combination was effective Jan. 1.

“We are in growth mode,” managing partner Doug Ellenoff said in the statement. “Adding this IP practice hits one of the key sweet spots of our strategy.”
