States across the country grappled Friday with disruptions from the global tech outage in trying to provide services to their residents from emergency operations to driver’s licenses.
Forty-one US states use CrowdStrike, the cybersecurity firm responsible for the outage, according to its website. It manages services ranging from 911 systems to commuter trains.
