STATE AI HIRING BILLS could become narrower in scope in the face of Trump administration pushback, as state legislatures seek to create rules around in the use of artificial intelligence in hiring.

  • Legislators have backed bills with provisions ranging from requiring employers to mitigate potential AI-driven hiring bias to mandating disclosure and appeals of AI-generated decisions for job applicants.
