Josh McLane joined Weil, Gotshal & Manges as a partner in its transactional tax practice in Los Angeles, the firm announced Tuesday.
McLane’s practice focuses on the tax aspects of complex transactions and reorganizations, with an emphasis on private equity, LBO, merger, acquisition, and liability management transactions. He advises private fund sponsors and investors in major transactions, the firm said.
He joins from Sheppard, Mullin, Richter and Hampton.
