NAVBLUE, a subsidiary of European plane manufacturer Airbus, signed cooperation agreement with China’s Air Traffic Management Bureau Thursday, to build a navigation database in the country.
- Airborne navigation database will be produced in China, as part of the effort to meet the requirements of data security in China, according to a statement posted in Airbus’ official WeChat account
- The agreement is an extension of a strategic cooperation agreement reached between the two parties in 2014
- The cooperation will help NAVBLUE’s navigation database enter into the China’s market
