GoodRx’s $32 Million Info-Sharing Deal Fails to Get Court Nod

GoodRx Holdings Inc.'s proposed $32 million settlement of a lawsuit alleging it illegally shared users’ data with Google LLC, Meta Platforms Inc., and Criteo Corp. failed to win approval from a federal court.

The plaintiffs failed to provide the court with a claim-by-claim assessment of the putative class’s recovery along with a justification of the discount applied to the claims, Judge Araceli Martinez-Olguin of the US District Court for the Northern District of California said Jan. 16.
