Constellation Energy Rises After CyrusOne Texas Freestone Deal

Constellation Energy shares rise as much as 4% after the energy company announced an agreement with Dallas-based CyrusOne to support a new data center facility near the Freestone Energy Center in Texas.

• Calpine LLC, a division of Constellation, has signed a new 380-megawatt (MW) agreement
• Calpine also entered into a deal to provide power, grid connectivity and site infrastructure for Phase 2, an additional 380 MW
  • These deals add to the 400 MW agreements Calpine and CyrusOne announced last year for the Thad Hill Energy Center in Bosque County, Texas, according to the press release
