Crusoe’s Texas AI Campus to Support Microsoft Infrastructure

Crusoe announced the development of a new 900 MW AI factory campus in Abilene, Texas to support Microsoft’s large-scale AI workloads, with the first building expected to be energized in mid-2027.

  • New campus will bring total projected capacity across Abilene to 2.1 gigawatts
  • Project includes two new buildings and onsite power plant for grid resilience
  • NOTE: Microsoft to Rent Texas Data Center Dropped by Oracle, OpenAI
