NFL’s Houston Texans to Shift HQ to New Suburban Development (1)

The National Football League’s Houston Texans announced plans to relocate their corporate headquarters to the suburbs to anchor a sprawling retail and entertainment development.

The team, which finished the 2025 season with one of the best records in franchise history, will also move its practice facility to the new site roughly 35 miles (56 kilometers) northwest of the existing location at NRG Park, according to a statement Thursday.

The Texans made no mention of whether they intend to continue playing home games at NRG when their current agreement expires in 2032. The venue is owned by Harris County and is ...
