Samsung to Move Its US Headquarters to Texas From NJ: Yonhap

Samsung Electronics will move its US headquarters to Plano, Texas, from Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, and recently notified its employees of the plan, Yonhap News says, citing unidentified industry officials.

• There are ~1,000 employees working in Englewood Cliffs office; most are likely to be reassigned to the new HQ in Plano
• The move is aimed at strengthening synergy of Samsung’s US business
