Supreme Court Takes High Stakes Oil Case

“The stakes in this case could not be higher.”

That’s what Suncor Energy and Exxon said to convince the US Supreme Court to review a Colorado Supreme Court ruling that the city and county of Boulder can use state law to hold the companies liable for climate change impacts. The high court agreed yesterday to hear the case.
