The Australian tax authority on Wednesday teased additional guidance on the global minimum tax it aims to issue in the “next few weeks.”
“We will regularly update our website with expanded guidance, including information on safe harbours and consolidations. We are expecting to publish updates in the next few weeks,” the Australian Tax Office said on its website.
The update follows guidance the office issued in August detailing the list of entities and criteria businesses have to meet to be exempt from filing global minimum tax returns.
