An Arizona federal district court denied MomDoc’s motion to dismiss a disability discrimination claim under the Americans with Disabilities Act brought by a medical assistant with a neurological disorder causing “club foot” and an arm condition requiring surgery, finding that the medical assistant adequately exhausted her administrative remedies through her EEOC charge, her allegations of ongoing denials of accommodation requests (to wear her own scrubs and have access to a computer/printer) up until her termination were not time-barred, and her requests for punitive damages and back/front pay were appropriate at the pleading stage.
