A Mississippi children’s clinic is suing the Biden administration, alleging it forced the clinic to provide gender-affirming surgeries via a federal rule.
The lawsuit follows another legal challenge to a recent US Department of Health and Human Services rule brought by the state of Florida and others. Plaintiffs in both cases are represented by the Alliance Defending Freedom, a conservative legal group currently battling with the Biden administration at the US Supreme Court over access to the abortion drug mifepristone.
