Davis Polk & Wardwell on Tuesday announced new salaries that reach as high as $396,500, topping Milbank’s scale for midlevel and senior associates.
The scale boosts fourth-year associate salaries to $293,500 from $285,000, according to a memo by Davis Polk managing partner Neil Barr. It ups salaries for fifth-, sixth-, seventh- and eighth-year associates by roughly $10,000 to $11,500 over Milbank’s scale.
The most senior associates receive $396,500, compared with Milbank’s $385,000, according to the memo viewed by Bloomberg Law. The increases are retroactive to Jan. 1, 2022 for associates in good standing as of March 15.
